Every street had a different array of lights. Very impressive. We took the night tour to look at the lights and also spent lots of time walking to take these pictures.
This steel tree, is the largest in Europe - some 76 meters high. The lights constantly kept changing patterns. Shopping mall near our hotel.
The Maugenhard dorm boys doing their decorating. With the decorating, boys have to do what they do best - fool around!!! Great guys! After the "work" there is a time to celebrate a birthday.
Decorating the Loewen's apartment. Had fun going to find a tree.
Colmar, France decorations. Artificial snow. Did a great job! Even after looking for a long time and going to different tree lots, it usually is the first tree you looked at that you come back to. This day was a prime example. Shopping for dorm flowers Back in Colmar, France.
It seems like the Europeans like to decorate much more than the Canadians. We are really enjoying all the lights and decorations. Here we went to Riquewihr, France one day. These outdoor markets are in all the towns and cities. Don't quite know who buys all the stuff but most of it is handcraft stuff. Mommies kissing Santa Clause.
The Christmas banquet at Black Forest Academy was early - November 30. Here, Jacob and his date, Cameron are ready to leave together with Mark and Cyndy. Tiera, and her boyfriend, Ken Reed. Some extra Christmas decorations thrown in!!
This was one of the stores in Paris that was already decorated in the middle of November. The LaFayette Galeries were actually several stores (buildings). There were dresses there that were 5000 euros and were individually locked to the stands. The various designers had sections in the stores where they displayed their clothes. Jumping around somewhat, here is Caleb and Cyndy. Jacob and Cameron.
