Autumn in Prague

This year we have enjoyed some beautiful colourful scenes around Prague.
Riverside School celebrates whenever an opportunity arises. The school is a very social community and they have fun at their parties. Here, in early November, they celebrate "fireworks day" which comes out of England history where someone blew up some buildings.

The trip to the Praha Zoo, the largest in Europe, is always a fun time. It takes more than one day to go through the whole place. A real fun place for kids and adults.
First, we have to cross the river. This cuts off over 45 minutes of driving time. This is only about a 5 minute trip.

Uncle Steve was a great hit with the kids. We did enjoy his visit to Prague. He came here before Andrea went into the hospital for her radioactive iodine treatment. Then he went off to Germany and Greece and then returned for another 5 days before heading back to Penticton.

Walk along the river across from Riverside School. This was one of the first times that Andrea was out and was about as close to the school as she was allowed as she still was not able to go back to school for another 2 weeks.

Park near the hospital where Andrea was staying for two weeks.

Yes, they really are best of friends!

The Falk's home. Going to the British/American sector for Halloween. The Czech people do not celebrate Halloween.

River ride on a rather cool day. They still were game for ice cream though.

Outdoor eating areas are very popular in Prague, even when the weather is cooler.
